Dosniha, arcade operator, started in 1992. Although its main activity was the operation of arcades, its concern to evolve led it to venture into the market for the manufacture and sale of machines, thus becoming the pioneer in approving and marketing the first electromechanical roulette for arcades in the Spanish market.
It was the first company in the sector to obtain the ISO Quality Certificate in the Balearic Islands. In 2.012 it became the Spanish subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group.
Merkur Dosniha's headquarters are located in Palma de Mallorca, although there are other delegations in Murcia, Madrid and Malaga. There is also a logistics warehouse in Murcia. The commercial network extends throughout the Spanish geography.
The main activity is the development of games along with the sale and rental of gaming machines. We have a spare parts and after-sales service. The brands marketed are MERKUR and INTERBLOCK. Currently the staff exceeds 100 workers.
Known as "the German Giant", the GAUSELMANN GROUP was founded in 1957 by Paul Gauselmann, and has grown steadily to become one of the most successful companies in the gaming industry worldwide.
Its main activity is the manufacture of Game Machines which honour the "German Quality" seal in terms of technology and innovation. It is divided in two large business segments: all offering for business customers (B2B), from individual games, game systems and gaming machines, online casino and sport betting content to payment systems, are concentrated in the Merkur business segment, while offering for end customers (B2C) fall under the Gaming operations business segment. This is responsible among other things for the management og gaming arcade, land-based casino and casinos on board cruise ship, bingo halls, sport betting shops and online platforms, as well as online and socialcasinos serving millions of customers every day
It is present in many countries and has more than ten subsidiaries. The Gauselmann Group is heavily involved in social issues and has its own foundation, as well as being involved in numerous social projects.

ETHIC CODE
This Code of Ethics sets out the ethical principles, values and rules of conduct that govern the actions of the Company and all the people who form part of it, as well as its collaborators, with the aim of ensuring ethical and responsible behaviour in the development of its activity.
The scope of application covers all employees, managers and directors who form part of the Company, regardless of their hierarchical level and their geographical or functional location, who assume the commitment to comply with it, as well as their loyal collaboration in its implementation and application.
This Code is a reflection of the transparent and integral behaviour of the Company. To this end, Merkur Dosniha will promote the dissemination, understanding and application of the Code of Ethics through the implementation of appropriate tools and the organisation of training courses.
The Code does not intend to cover all possible situations that may arise, but to establish some minimum guidelines of conduct that should guide the Company and all the staff in their way of acting during the development of their professional activity.
Any modification to the Code of Ethics will require the approval of the Board of Directors of Merkur Dosniha, S.L.

The Company guarantees respect for human rights, not accepting discrimination on the basis of race, colour, nationality, social origin, age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, ideology, political opinions, religion or any other personal, physical or social condition of its employees
Merkur Dosniha promotes equal treatment between men and women in their access to employment, training and business promotion. Likewise, it prohibits any manifestation of harassment, abuse of authority, violence or any other conduct that generates an intimidating or offensive work environment for the dignity and personal rights of the Personnel.
Protection of the environment
Merkur Dosniha's staff is responsible and exemplary in its behavior regarding respect for the environment, consuming resources, energy and water in a responsible manner and avoiding the unnecessary generation of waste and promoting its recycling.
The Company has defined environmental policies, establishing training plans and information actions to all staff promoting these principles and demanding compliance with current legislation.

Confidential Information
Merkur Dosniha staff will maintain the necessary confidentiality on information relating to the development of the company's activity in the performance of their duties, which must not be disclosed under any circumstances, nor be used for their own benefit or that of third parties. Company personnel have signed confidentiality clauses in their contracts.
Similarly, we require our employees to manage the information provided in the context of their contractual relations in a confidential manner. The Company has security means and procedures in place to ensure the protection of reserved and confidential information recorded on physical or electronic media.
Intellectual and Industrial Property
The Company will ensure the proper use of intellectual and industrial property rights, committing all staff not to reproduce, plagiarize, distribute or publicly communicate information or documentation without the authorization of the owners of the corresponding rights, and not to reproduce, imitate, modify or usurp a distinctive sign identical to that of Merkur Dosniha, without the consent of the Company.
Conflicts of interest
Merkur Dosniha respects all those business and financial activities carried out by its staff in a legal and ethical manner and which do not conflict with the Company, the latter being understood as the situation in which the personal interest of the worker may clash with the interest of the former.
Faced with a conflict situation of this nature, the employee must immediately inform his or her superior, refrain from intervening in the decision-making process that could affect the situation and act loyally towards Merkur Dosniha.
Gifts and other services
Merkur Dosniha Staff may not receive, request or accept gifts, benefits or advantages from managers, employees or collaborators of other companies, foundations or associations in the performance of their activities, except when they are of symbolic value or are a sign of courtesy that does not condition the professionalism and independence of the person accepting them.
It is also prohibited to promise, offer or give gifts or entertainment to third parties, including persons linked to public service or judicial authority with the aim of obtaining an advantage for Merkur Dosniha. Excluded from the above are those attentions that are considered ordinary or customary in accordance with social customs, as they are within sensible and reasonable limits. In any case, the attention or gift to a particular client or partner will need prior communication and authorization from the General Management.
Responsible use of the Company's resources
The Company undertakes to make available to its Personnel the necessary resources for the performance of their professional activity.
The Company will provide all its employees with the electronic tools, as well as access to the Internet, needed to carry out their usual tasks.
For their part, the Personnel undertake to use all electronic devices for professional use, to inform their manager or the IT Department in the event of any incident, not to install any type of software or application in addition to those already installed by the Company, and to use the Internet and e-mail only for professional purposes.

Merkur Dosniha is committed to offering its customers quality products and services in compliance with the requirements and standards established by law.
The Company guarantees the confidentiality of customer data, and undertakes not to disclose them to third parties, except with the customer's consent or by legal or judicial imperative, as well as undertakes to ensure the right to privacy and compliance with legislation on the protection of personal data.
Suppliers
Merkur Dosniha performs a selection process of suppliers according to their standards of quality and professionalism, basing the choice of them on criteria of objectivity and impartiality and avoiding any conflict of interest or favoritism in their selection.
The Company guarantees the confidentiality of the data of its suppliers and collaborators, and undertakes not to disclose them to third parties, except with their consent or by legal or judicial imperative, as well as it undertakes to ensure the right to privacy of the same and compliance with the legislation on personal data protection.

Merkur Dosniha's Corporate Civil Responsibility policies are aimed at developing a fairer and more equitable society, through the protection of the environment and cooperation with public administrations, social agents and entities that develop social purposes.
Merkur Dosniha makes available to all its staff a channel for complaints, accessible through the corporate intranet, to ensure proper management, independent, secure and confidential queries, complaints or incidents raised regarding compliance with the Code of Ethics and commission of irregularities or acts contrary to law.
The Company's Board of Directors is the maximum reference point for leading the implementation of the values and principles described in this Code. The Code of Ethics is available on the corporate intranet so that all personnel can have access to it. However, the publication of this document is not sufficient for the implementation of an ethical system in the Company. Therefore, Merkur Dosniha will take the appropriate measures to ensure that all Personnel have full knowledge of it.
The Chief Compliance Officer shall carry out an assessment and annual report on the degree of compliance with the Code of Ethics and shall submit it to the Company's Board of Directors.
Non-compliance with the Code of Ethics may give rise to disciplinary sanctions, in accordance with current labour regulations, without prejudice to any administrative or criminal sanctions that may result.
The Board of Directors will adopt the corresponding decision on the disciplinary measures to be executed by the Human Resources department, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations, and the Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for supervising the effective and correct application of these measures.
The Board of Directors will periodically review and update the Code of Ethics, taking into account the annual reports of the Chief Compliance Officer or proposals for improvement or suggestions received.

It was born with only 7 gaming premises 25 years ago, and already exposed in the entrance of them the rules of the house advising a responsible use of the game.
